RealPlayer and blue screen of death

Hi,

When I view video clips in RealPlayer using the ActiveX control I get the
blue screen of death. It has given several numbers:

Stop: 0x0000008E (0xC0000092, 0xED85CF26, 0xF78A6E1C, 0x00000000)

with a warning about a file C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\nvmcp.sys. The file
is a driver for NVIDIA nForce MCP APU Audio Library version 6.14.457.0. I
know you can't help me with outside vendor software, but I've upgraded the
Real Software, flashed my BIOS, and updated the NVIDIA drivers. I first
noticed this error after installing SP2.

What is my next step?

I would suggest getting rid of the bloated and invasive Real Player, and any
other Real programs that have taken over your computer, and using Windows
Media Player instead.

Uninstall RealPlayer. Keep it uninstalled.
