REAL TIME PROTECTION

Hi there,
I have installed the MSAS tool on my WinXP PC and re-installed it more than
three times. I also previously follow every advice found in this Discussion
Group without any results.

I can't run properly the real time protection feature:
- Only if I run the program also the Security Agents start to work in
background
- The feature is corrected setted up in the MSAS control Panel ticking
"enabled"..

Try these two solutions:

A) You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in
Control Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and
then click Updªte.


B) Use the Repair Function in the ADD / REMOVE PROGRAM section in the
Control Panel.

Then, try these steps:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> type in -> command)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quºtes).
3) Close and re-open Windows Defender.


You can go ahead and do both of these--neither has any downside risk--and
see if that does the jºb.
