I understand that MSAS beta is a real-time-monitoring
app.So is webroot spysweeper/latest version.would running
two real-time-monitoring apps. have a potential for
conflicts..??Has anyone installed MSAS beta after also
having installed and running Webroot Spysweeper latest
version...succesfully,with no conflicts between the two
real-time apps...???

I would recommend disabling the MSAS Real time protection before
installation of the new version web root.

I believe I've seen posts here from folks with both these products running.
The help for Microsoft Antispyware suggests that you turn off other
antispyware programs during the installation of Microsoft Antispyware--but
once the install is complete, you should be fine.

I have it and I am not seeing any problems with either
running at the same time , however I did have a problem
this morning with another computer at a clients business
where antispyware found gator clairia.gain and removed
it but then the antispyware stoped responding and
removed .NET neither would respond after they were
reloaded and for some reason Microsoft doesnt seem to
care to deal with this issue. Confused about that, so my
comment is to be carefull when you find gator on your
drive be sure to set the restore point....,.

Want to say more about what happened? I can understand the part about
claria/gain and "stopped responding"--I've got a VPC in that condition right
now.

But you lost me when you went on to .NET.

Not sure what you meant about "Microsoft doesn't seem to care to deal with
this issue." What issue? This beta is unsupported--that's very clearly
stated on the download page, in the eula, and in the product help. Given
that, what is it that you are expecting?
