Real-time Protection Won't Start

I've successfully installed AntiSpyware on two XP Professional computers.
One is SP2 and the other is SP1.

On the third computer (SP2), everything seems to work except that I cannot
enable real-time protection. Whenever I try, the software continually tries
to start another instance of AntiSpyware. If I don't shut it down, the
system tray fills with icons and the task manager shows many processes being
created.

I un-installed the software and then re-installed it. That didn't fix the
problem.

Has anyone seen this problem?

Does anyone have suggestions on what to do to get it fixed?

Thanks,
Brad

I, too, am seeing a similar problem.

I've installed the AntiSpyware program on 3 XP Home systems --
2 SP1, 1 SP2.

One of the SP1 systems works fine. Both of the other systems
have this problem of multiple-multiple icons in the system
tray and won't configure properly.

I've been through the Add/Remove Software 'CHANGE' function
without any effect.

The errors.log file of one of the problem systems shows all
kinds of stuff but I don't know where to send/post it.
Is this newsgroup the appropriate place?

There is a known issue with multiple user setups, however
if your SP2 boxes don't have that, you are posting an issue
which is not listed in the marfer FAQ. If you start a new
thread and post full particulars ("file in this newsgroup.
Please title the message so it is Obvious it is a bug") it's
possible that "Steve Dodson [MSFT]" will notice it.

There is only one user account on the computer. AntiSpyware is installed
under All Users.

Thanks for the responses.
