Real Time Protection needs Always Allow Option

I daily get frustrated by the fact that the Real Time Protection doesn't
support the Always Allow or an Ignore option for detected changes. Certain
software packages I am using frequently re-write links and registry settings
to prevent something from hi-jacking them. Each time this occurs, WD detects
this as a change and pops-up a warning indicating that I need to take action
on these although WD doesn't prevent the change from occuring.

How much grief does the user community have to endure? How much time,
resources and effort does Microsoft have to expend explaining and providing
circumventions for lack of a facility to remember RTP allow option? What do
you think will happen when Windows Defender populates millions of more
computers?
