REAL TIME PROTECTION, AUTO SCAN

I HAVE ENABLED REAL TIME PROTECTION BUT NEVER FIND OUT
ABOUT THE EXISTENCE OF (OFTEN RE-OCCURING) THREAR UNLESS
I DO A SCAN. WHY IS THAT? ALSO, I HAVE SET THE SPYWARE TO
DO AN AUTOMATIC SCAN AT A CERTAIN TIME EVERY DAY BUT IT
NEVER DOES. I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE SETUPS REPEATEDLY BUT
STILL NO SUCCESS.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try and do deep scans in safe mode. Open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the scan
page, choose scan options > full system scan (check boxes below) > click
"Run Scan Now".

As for scheduling scans, its buggy, just try selecting another suitable
time.
This appears to be "correct" behavior for the code currently distributed,
believe it or not! Two days ahead of the scheduled day is "normal" as is the
appearance when
you select 10 am.

Times between 12:00 and 12:59 PM are not selectable.
