Need more specifics... what does "...somehow it will not show the options"
mean? When? Where?

If you have gig of RAM or more ReadyBoost is useless. If you only
have 512 it helps a little, very little. More RAM is always better.

The USB2.0 memory device must meet certain performance and storage
characteristics (2.5MB/sec throughput for 4K random reads and 1.75MB/sec
throughput for 512K random writes; 64 MB to 8 GB of free space; 256 MB of
overall storage or more) and if it doesn't meet all of these requirements
then it cannot be used as a readyboost device. Most USB2.0 memory devices
equal or exceed these requirements for SEQUENTIAL transfers but are incapable
of the meeting the requirements for RANDOM transfers. Suitable devices are
only just starting to come on to the market, but a better solution is to
ensure that your system has plenty of RAM.
