For those that have attended similiar shows .. must I be there at 7:45
am to be admitted. I'm busy and was thinking more like 11am - 3pm. Would
they allow that do you think ? ANd would that still qualify to get "free
stuff " that they usually give out too ?

Yes, you must be there at 7:45 AM to register. And you may be
eligible to receive a free Vista mouse pad.

It depends.
Many of this type of events fill up with a waiting list.
If that is the case for your location and you are not there, your slot is
given away to someone waiting on standby.

Having a ticket does not guarantee admission if you are late.

Anyone going to the MS L.O.V.E.F.E.S.T tomorrow? I was told it's basically
the same thing for Partners. It should be fun!
