I am making a catalog that will be created in XP. I will make a bootable CD then there will be a welcome screen with choices of either a catalog done that is PDF or a Powerpoint presentation. I need to know if there is a way to make the CD readable in any computer that has a earlier version of Windows or whether only people with XP will be able to use the CD.

First of all I don't think you mean bootable, I think (actually I hope) you
mean Auto-running!

If it's a PowerPoint file, you'll have to save it in the mode where it will
run on any PC, even those without PowerPoint installed.

If it's a PDF, they must have at least Acrobat Reader installed.

Provided the CD is closed out, it should be able to be used on most
operating systems.

Thank you for your answer...I believe it will solve the problem, I will try! Thank you for taking the time to respond!
