Reading Pane Disappears

Terry Smerling

Each time I start up Outlook 2007, the reading pane is absent even though I
activated it during my previous session. I know how to activate Reading Pane
on View menu, but how do I get that setting to stick, i.e. become the default?

Try starting Outlook 1 time with the /cleanviews command line switch. Note:
This will delete all custom views and reset the built-in ones back to their
defaults.

How to:
Start > Run > type: outlook.exe /cleanviews > ok button
