Reading DriveSpace compressed drives in Windows XP

I have the following problem:
I have an old hard disk which was used with Windows 98. I managed to get the
raw data from it. But... the drive was compressed with DriveSpace3 and so I
now only have a huge drvspace.000 file and can't get the data out of it as I
do not have a Windows 98 installation any more.
Does anyone know a program or another way to get the data?
(I'm using Windows XP Professional now.)

XP cannot read sucj a drive...
you best bet would be to put it in a win98 machine

however a full win98 boot floppy can read the compressed volume...
you could copy the data you need to another fat32 drive
