Reading a Lotus Smart Suite document in Word

My friend sometimes sends me documents he has written in the Lotus Smart
Suite word processor. I only have Microsoft Office 2000 installed. How can
I read his documents?
 
Ask your friend to save his documents as Word files or RTF
files. Word cannot read the file format of Lotus Word Pro,
unfortunately.
