After a bunch of problems with my cpu, I've got everything settled. Except
now, all my versions of my DB are coming up as Read-Only. They are read only
on my local drive and they are read only on the network. They are also read
only other people's terminals.

What happened. And how do I fix it? Please help.

When you were having problems, did you copy your files to a CD and then copy
them back to your computer, the network and other people's terminals? Files
copied from a CD are installed Read Only. You need to go to the files in
Windows Explorer, right click on each file, open Properties and uncheck Read
Only under Attributes.

In the old days when you tried copying from a cd the db's were read only.
Could that be the case? Right click the properties from the db in your
explorer and look if they are set to read only.
