I was wondering how to turn off the read only option on a presentation

Depends why the read only is happening.

Are you getting an error message, or at least a dialog box that says
something about read only? Or do you just need to know how to turn it off
after you copy a file from CD to your hard drive?

?? Again, if you're getting an error message, that is a different cause than
the read only that happens because the file was copied from a CD.

See http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00076.htm for another reason you
might receive a "read only" warning. Another reason is that someone has put
a modify password on it.

See? I asked those questions earlier for a reason.

thanks i dont know how but i fixed it lol

If you'd answer the questions that Echo's asked you, one of us could probably
figure out what caused the problem so you know how to fix it if it happens
again.
