!!!READ ONLY PROBLEM!!!

i have a directory set up on my 2000 server that is
shared to everone with full rights. when i try to access
it from an XP pro client, it shows a read only attribute
and it cannot be removed. how do i get around this?

I had a similar problem and it ended up being microsoft's
built in internet connection firewall, when I disabled it,
everything started working great.
