Read only Files

Running Win XP Home edition and find that after burning files to a
CD-RW disk they are always "Read Only" and I cannot save updates over
the files nor can I delete them.
I am not allowed to change the file attributes even though I am the User
/ administrator---your help please.

Check your burner documentation: You apparently have it set to close the
disk or session/s after writing to it or otherwise marking the CD as not to
be written to again.

If you look at it with Explorer, does it show any free space?
