I have a powerpoint presentation that I burned onto a CD from work and when I
tried to opne it at home, it opens as "READ ONLY" file. I'm not able to save
it to my PC. I even tried to "save as and rename it) but it won't let me.

Is there anyway I can save it to my home computer (Windows XP) and make
edits?

Thanks in advance.

Go to My Computer and locate the CD drive and the file. Copy the file and paste
it to one of your hard drives. Right click it, select Properties, and uncheck
the box next to "Read Only". Now open PowerPoint and open the version of the
file on your hard drive.

Do you also get a message about embedded fonts?
If so, make sure you have the needed fonts installed on your home system as well
as the one at work.
