I have currently been upgraded to MS 2003 but my other users are on MS2000. I
ran an update to my database and now we are getting a read only error and
none of us can updata any information. Please help!

Thanks

If you "upgraded" the database from A2000 to A2003 format (I presume
you mean Access2003, not the nonexistant "MS2003") then the database
will not be usable by people who have A2000 installed. There's a very
clear warning message stating this fact in the upgrade process.

A2003 can use A2000 format databases, in fact that's the default. If
that's what you've done, open the database in 2003, and select
Tools... Convert to convert it back to 2000 format.

If the file has in fact (independently of any upgrade) been marked
read-only, open Windows Explorer or My Computer, view the file's
Properties, and uncheck the Read Only checkbox. This can happen if
you've copied the database to CD.
