Read Messages to Regular font instead of Bold

In my Inbox, I cannot figure out how to change the font on my read messages
to regular instead of bold. It is a visual eye sore to have all messgaes in
bold instead of just what I haven't read. Any suggestions?

How are you reading them, in the Reading Pane, or bby double-clicking and
opening them? If you right-click one, does the context menu contain a "Mark
as Read" you can select? If you do select it, what happens?

I have tried both ways and neither will get rid of the bold font. Marking
as read doesn't change it either. It was much easier for me to see what I
needed to look at when eveything wasn't in bold. Is it even possible to
change this?

You completely avoided answering the questions I asked. Why?

Have you tried resetting the view you're using? Try starting Outlook once
with the /cleanviews command switch.

No, I have not reset the view but I'll try it. Thanks for the advice.
