Hello folks,

Have been wondering about some folders lurking automatically within my main
hard drive. To be exact, they all fall under the main Windows folder and
have numbers from various Windows updates, such as "$NtUninstallKB885836$."
Started out with not so many, but of course as the updates grow, so do these
"hidden" folders. (I have all folders showing on my hard drive) They are now
up to 500 MB, not much I suppose, but do they serve any important or
valuable service to my system, or can they be removed? All the files I am
referring to begin and end with a dollar sign by the way.

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance with this matter.

Warm Regards ~ Suzanne

That was exactly what I needed to know Wes, thank you very much for the
input. When I searched via the MS site I just kept coming up empty handed
for some reason. Good to know I can move them if I wish to or eventually get
rid of "most" of them.

Thank you!

Suzanne

You're welcome, Suzanne.
