Re-starting machine after Service Pack 1A install

Pete Q

I just finished loading Service Pack 1A. I disabled my
virus software during the install process.

After the install I was prompted to re-start in order to
complete the installation. When my computer restarted it
automatically enbabled my virus software. Even though I
had installed the software, I was concerned that the
virus software was enabled upon start up since the
service pack install is not supposed to complete until
after you have re-started the machine.

Is it okay that my virus software was running when my
computer started back up?

No problem. The boys and girls in Redmond have that all worked out. But it's
a good question.
