I posted the following last night, but it is now already on page 4 of this discussion forum, so I am reposting it here in the hope of getting a reply

Do you mean have I tried changing the text size when the DPI is set to 96? I haven't, but I don't think that this will solve the problem, as it will only increase the font size in IE, but the rest of Windows will still be too small

I posted a message under the same heading a few days ago, and go
some advice on how to fix it.
at a poor resolution. I understand that this is as a result of IE6'
automatic adjustment of scale on high resolution systems.
and changed the DPI settings and then re-booted my PC for the change
to take effect. However, when I ran REGEDIT to add the UseHR entry
I noticed that there was already such an entry, and it already ha
the value dword:00000001.
fonts and graphics appear well on screen. The obvious disadvantag
is that everything becomes very small and therefore quite hard t
read.
