Poor resolution.... again!

Thanks to all (Frank Saunders, Don Varnau, CA Upsdell) who have replied to my original thread. The problem of poor graphic and font resolution has still not been resolved properly: the only way to get the resolution right is to set the DPI to 96, but, as stated before, this has the disadvantage of making everything else on the screen too small to read comfortably. I've tried the suggestions of changing Text Size (in IE) and Font Size (in Display Properties). Both of these do indeed make things easier to read, but does not have the desired effect which I require: I need the DPI to be 120, but with font and graphics at clear resolution. Surely there has to be a way of achieving this? Any further suggestions

Thanks in advance!

Right click a blank spot on the desktop and select Properties | Settings.
Lower your screen resolution one notch.
