Re-occurring email (Nightmare)???

I had originally set up my mail with Read Receipts. I had people saying they
didn't get the mail when they actually did.

Anyway, now I have a Read Receipt that comes up every time there is a
send/receive done, even if I delete the message. It will come up in the same
place with the same date, over and over again. I hit send/receive 45 times,
and it the message came in 45 times showing the person had read the mail. I
cannot get it out of my mail. I have checked with the person and they have
deleted the original message from there computer.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
