RE Microsoft anti spyware beta version

Could this be due to the fact that it doesn't run a full
scan? I have it set to scan everything I can find to
check. However, when I run the scan, it stops after
scanning only 18,000 files. Mcafee is still busily
scanning away at >125,000. I wonder if it is only
scanning the boot partition and not the rest of the
drives? I've found spyware on drives besides the C
drive, so if it's doing that, Mcafee will certainly find
more than MS. janet

The best scan is always full system scan in the current beta 1 state of
Microsoft AntiSpyware. Choose Scan Options > Full System System Scan and
ensure that boxes below it are checked.

I think it is looking at what it needs to.

Check the details of the scan. Do full, deep scans, and check that all
partitions are checked off.
