Spyware faults x 2

Fault 1. Why is it, and it's not only me as I've checked
with friends who have same problem? The scheduled scan
does not work. It bypasses the due date and time without a
care in the world, however it usually runs a scan all by
itself Friday evening. It's done this the last 2 weeks.
Yes my scheduled scan is on a Sunday and not Fridays'.

Fault 2. I also have McAfee privacy service which
incorporates an anti spware detector. Following this
Friday's 'un'scheduled scan completing, my McAfee spyware
scan also completed a scan about 3hrs later. It found a
spyware web bug known as 'surfsnoop' which can trace
keyboard and mouse movements. Surely this should have been
detected by Microsoft spyware as it appears to be a more
indepth programme. Why did it not detect this spyware
before it even got onto my system and at the very least
detected it on my system? Am i asking too much for
an 'ANTI SPYWARE' programme to achieve?

Fault 1 is a known issue with the beta builds to date.

Fault 2 - Next time you find a bug on your system which Microsoft
Antispyware has missed, please submit a Tools, suspected spyware report.

Is real-time protection active on your machine? I do wonder how that bug
snuck in with Microsoft Antispyware in place.

Guess what? Its still in beta. The scheduled scan feature in present beta 1
builds is buggy and its a known features that is being worked on for beta 2.
So you should see the realibility improvements by that time.

Thanks for replying. Regards fault 1, yes hopefully full
version shall sort this. Not too difficult to deal with.
Fault 2 regarding 'surfsnoop'. Yes, my realtime protection
is fully active. I'll send the report as you said but
hopefully these issues can be rectified. Thanks.
