Re-Lable C Drive ???

I recreated my WXP system from scratch and ended up with C drive as
labeled 'Local Disk' in My Computer etc. It won't let me change the
label?

How can I do it?

Right click on the hard-drive, select properties and specify the volume label.

UhUh. I tried that - as I have in the past - Won't take for some

I discovered that I have to re-boot to see the re-label.
