I would like know, if I can completely remove partitions
I've made on the HDD and re-instal XP with new ones? I
basically want to start fresh again. Any info would be
great.

Doug,

This step-by-step article describes how to partition and format a hard disk
with Windows XP.

Before you can install an operating system, you must first create a primary
partition on the first physical hard disk (Disk 0) on your computer, and
then format a file system on that partition. This partition is named the
System partition. Alternatively, you can create a separate partition for the
operating system on any physical hard disk. This is named the Boot
partition. The System partition on Disk 0 can also be used as a Boot
partition.

Hi,

Sure you can, just boot the WinXP CD and start a new installation. You can
repartition and format as part of this series as long as you do not wish to
save anything that is currently on the hard drive.

Greetings --

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
