re installed XP but cant find soundcard

When i reinstalled Windows XP , Device Manager shows the
Windows Sound System Compatible (WDM) driver as having a
problem. When i view the device properties, the following
description appears:

Code 28 (The drivers for this device are not installed).

Cant play any sound at all! Please please HELP!!!

You need to install the sound card drivers. Go to the manufacturer's
website and download them.
