Hi Readers,
This reading refers to Toshiba laptop. Back last Nov, i purchased new with a
Recovery cd.

A few weeks back ,when SP3 was all the rage to obtain, i slipstreamed I386
folder with the SP3 hoping to save a lot of time on future installs.
Back on monday i tried using this slipstreamed disk ,to boot up. message
came up ,no hard drive found.
Now this disk runs , boots up ready to start install from within the
previous install.

Is it ok to proceed ?. When one uses a Recovery disk ,you get a lot of
rubbish programs.
After using recovery install disk ,removed a lot of rubbish programs I did
not want, re symantic internet security ,office 2007, Business Outlook
manager,SQL server 2005.
then installed SP3. I shan't at this time try out my theory, till the next
time. I have all the necessary drivers required ready for the job in hand.

Your slipstreamed cd will repair your origonal win installation

If your Tosh uses sata drives you will likely have to use the F6 option to
install sata/raid drivers from floppy when undertaking a clean installation.
