re domain configuring in win2kadvanced server

Hi, all
i have a problem in win2k advanced server, that i cant
change the existing domain name and change it to new
domain name, plz suggest me to do this.

You will have to run dcpromo to remove AD. This will remove the domain
accounts. Then run dcpromo again to set the new domain name. If you have
more than 1 AD DC you will have to do this to all of them. To preserve the
user accounts, install a NT 4.0 BDC into the Win 2k domain and replicate.
Once you have removed all AD DCs, promote the NT 4.0 BDC to PDC then upgrade
to Win 2k. Of course you have to be in mixed mode for this to work.

You could also set the new AD domain up on another server, create a trust
between the two domains and use the ADMT to migrate users from one domain to
the other.
