SWAT? AVG dealt with them.

Any comments? AFG won't reply to free users.

I presume you mean AVG, is it their concern that you receive these
e-mails? For starters: Don't use your regular e-mail adress in usenet.

It's actually a bit ambiguous, because it does say 'E-mail Scanner checks
Microsoft Outlook for all incoming and outgoing mail and attachments'. In
the Help file it says 'So in AVG we implemented an email scanner which tests
all attachments as soon as they "cross the border" from the email server
system to your mail client application.' Not just if you use Outlook, then?
And what about Outlook Express?

And even if you ask it to certify incoming mail absolutely nothing
happens on my system (XP Home/Outlook Express 6)... It doesn't inspire
confidence. Time to upgrade to a paid anti-virus, I think.

Have you put a tick in the Use Outlook Express plug in.

It says 5 but uses 6 as well.
