I have repaired XP after installing new motherboard.
I still have files and programs, except the programs are
not usable. They are not on desktop or listed under
programs.
They are however listed in the Programs folder.
Is there a way to re-activate without re-installing every
program?

I think you reinstalled rather than repaired. I think
you'll need to reinstall your apps.

I may be wrong, but this article seems to be about data and
not programs. I don't see where registry entries would be
made to run programs.

This appears to be for files, not re-activate of programs.
How do I get the programs to load?
The programs are in the programs directory, but will not
work...
