Re Activating XP or Re entering product code

Hi,
An HP computer I have loaded with XP spat the dummy so I reloaded it with a
Ghost image I have. The computer is working fine, however the problem is
that the Ghost image is not from the same machine but one exactly the same.
My concern is in regards to the Product Code and activation. I want to keep
things legal and above board but do not know how to re enter the product key.
Any suggestions?

Using the in-place upgrade will require the product key to be entered.
