RDP-Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...

I have a Win2k server as my terminal server.
Clients connect to office via sonicwall vpn & then connect to TS using RDP,
& all clients are XP Pro.
This seems to be very unreliable, as a client can connect one day & the next
day will get the "Remote Desktop Disconnected.
Client could not connect to the remote computer..." error message.
Where is this happening?
Is there a log file that's created to give me a little more info?
I have an adequate number of licenses, it is set to application mode, what
can be causing these intermittent connection issues?!?!?

Normally, the message should say "The client could not connect to the remote computer" because "The server may be too busy" which one you receive? here are some troubleshooting tips from http://www.chicagotech.net.

The client could not connect to the remote computer by using RWW
The client could not connect to Remote Web Workplace from one office
"The client could not connect to the Terminal server. The server may be too busy"
"The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer"
"The client could not connect to the remote computer" - RWW related
The client could not connect to the Terminal server. The server may be too busy. Please try connecting later.

I had a similar problem very recently on VPN connections over a new link. All
other links were fine. The Sonicwall Global VPN Client log viewer with "View
All" option enabled showed the VPN Connection was dropping. The sonicwall
stats showed that fragmented packets were being dropped. Modified the VPN
policy on the Sonicwall to allow fragmented packets. So far problem hasn't
reoccurred but it's only been a few days. If this works next step will be to
investigate optimum MTU sizes etc.

What I finally did was used one to one NAT to point to my TS & used all the
dectection prevention settings on my SonicWall.
Clients use RDP to connect to the public IP address & are in no problems.
It's been working fine so far...
