Hi all!
My problem is the following:
My friend and me have XP Prof, and I want to connect to him via RDP.
I have admin rights, and account in his PC, and his configuration seems
properly. He enable RDP in the system window remote desktop tab, and he adds
me to the users list who can make an RDP connection.
He don't use firewall, but I use, and I permit the TCP/UPD 3389 ports.
The problem is:
I can connect him PC, but when I take the password and press OK, I see, that
my profile loading... and the session halts, and after a minute I can see an
error message: network error. I can't remember the correct answer, but the
network error is sure. After that his PC was dropped from the Internet (he
and I use ADSL, with dinamic IP).
What is the fix of this problem?
(I can estabilish VPN to his PC, but when I try to connect with RDP via his
VPN IP, the reason is the same...)
(I saw the Remote Networking Technology Wiki -
http://www.remotenetworktechnology.com web page, and all MSKB articles, but
I can't find the fix.)
Thx!
Andrey
