RDP 5.2 for Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2

Hi all


I have a question with XPE SP2.
As i know, the lastest version of RDP in XPE SP1 is 5.2.
But when i upgrde the XPE from SP1 to SP2, i find the version of RDP is

5.1.
And i can't find the Remote Desktop Protocol 5.2 Component Update for
Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2.
So i must create the RDP 5.2 component by myself.


Why don't have the RDP 5.2 Component Update for XPE SP2.

It is a known (recently known) issue that RDP 5.2 update was lost from SP2
:-(
The new component for SP2 is currently in testing.

And, of course, you don't have to wait until the new component is released.

For RDP 5.2 client pretty much only binaries have changed since 5.1. So you
can take the new binaries from this QFE:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...7f-c439-4e7c-8d4e-9c4f65c09dc4&DisplayLang=en,
and replace them in your image.
