Service pack 2

Hi,

I'm pretty new in Windows Xpe. I managed to build a pretty good working
build with the Embedded Studio tools and it's running well. I have
updated de component database with the Sp2 setup and the log told me
everything went fine. But after building and running my build, in
System properties it does'nt show "Service Pack 2" where, at least i
think, it should.

In the General tab on system properties it says:

Microsoft Windows XP
Embedded
Version 2002

Is there anyway to check if my component database is running Sp2?

Thanks in advance!
Fred

With de winver command I found out that it indeed Sp1 is instead of
Sp2. So I tried to re-run Sp2 to update the database. During setup it
tells me that before reinstalling Sp2 I should first uninstall Sp2.
What went wrong and how can I resolve the problem?

Rubba,

If you open up Component Database Manager, on the Package tab you may want to check it out whether "Windows XP Embedded Client (x86)
Service Pack 2 Package" item is there.

Thanks KM, that was indeed the place I was looking for. I selected the
Sp2 package and imported it into the config. My Sp2 Emedded is up and
running now.

Greetings,
Rubba
