My XP system randomly hangs displaying this message

RDBSS.SYS The driver mistakenly marked a por

Anyone have any ideas as this is stressing me out. My first thought was to swap the RAM as this has been the root of bizarre error messages in the past

If you install or reinstall the latest service pack the
error should go away.
