RD - enable via registry hack or group policy?

I use Remote Desktop as a management tool for the desktops I manage (about
200). Some systems were set up without Remote Desktop enabled. Is there a
way to enable RD via the registry or via group policy? I do have remote
registry enabled on all computers.

I have already tried
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server and
setting the TSEnabled key to 1. That doesn't work, I can't connect via RD
and when I actually go to the machine, the little checkbox on the Remote tab
of the System Properties isn't checked. Once I check it, of course, voila
it works.

I've also looked through the group policy settings on the DC but I haven't
seen anything.

Our systems are all Windows XP SP1 and the servers are Windows 2000. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

I know how to enable RD when at the computer, I'm hoping for a way to do it
remotely so I don't have to visit the system in person.
