RAV is certainly not bad, but as the product has just been purchased by
MS, you may want to very carefully consider whether it is something you
want to buy into. One of RAV's strongpoints is its support for *nix and
Linux OSes. Although MS has not made any definitive statements about
its plans for RAV's product line, it seems extremely unlikely that MS
will retain support for non-Windows product versions beyond the short-
term. I'd be very surprised if the non-Windows products are ever
available once MS releases a re-badged product line, and would expect
existing licensees of non-Windows versions to be lucky to get more than
a year of detection updates beyond that...
Our experiences with RAV are very good, running it with Qmail on Linux.
It is easy to install and easy to maintain.
Bad thing is the kiss of death by MS.
Now however looking for replacement. But not found something with the same
friendly use and pize.
