"ratDVD takes a full featured DVD-9 movie and puts it into a highly
compressed .ratDVD container format file of about 1.x GB in
size - while preserving all the features of the original DVD"

Nice! :)

Yes, looks very good.
I wrote a message at a.c.f. about ratDVD on June 1 :)

CoMa,

Is the quality still good enough to run the DVD's full screen on a large
monitor or TV?

Just think, 3 or 4 movies would fit on a single disk. And if I'm reading
right, it's a lossless compression that can be un-compressed to the original
state. Is that correct?

Thanks,,,

Can only be played on your computer

Yes, almost same as the orginal disc

Here is a example.
Movie : Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Original DVD size : 7.49GB
RatDVD file size (with 5.1 -> 2.0) : 1.44GB
Quality : Default 95%
Transcoded DVD size : 6.05GB
