RAS using up all IP addresses?

Is there a way to get RAS DHCP leases to expire as soon as the user
disconnects? Just recently I have had a spike in remote usage and I
keep running out of addresses. I have the lease time set to 3 days
and do not want to reduce that further.

Thanks,

Limit the number of simultaneous RAS connections -- there is also a registry
entry for "how many extra" IPs the RAS server requests.

Your description sounds sort of wrong though, since a RAS server only gets
enough address for all of the connections (plus a couple).

You could also put the RAS servers on a separate subnet (and even translate
them if necessary.) This is not a bad idea from a security perspective
anyway
sometimes.
