I recently reloaded my xp system on my computer and ever since I am dealing
with random reboots of my computer after internet use. It happens whether I
use explorer of firefox. I didn't have the issue before and haven't done
anything different in peripherals. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Something is crashing. Turn off the "automatic restart on crash" feature.
This won't fix anything but will let you see the error messages.

Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery; click on
Settngs. Under System Failure, remove the checkmark from "automatically
restart".

Click OK back to the deskop. You might want to reboot.

Now, you'll find that you will get error messages instead of restarts. Pay
attention to them, as they are the necessary clue to solving the problem.

Thanks Patrick, I'll try that and see what happens.
