My mouse freezes a couple times a day, cannot cntl-alt-delete to reboot,
complete freeze, any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I had this same issue, including the Keyboard.
I found that it was a faulty Harddrive causing the errors.

I found an event log that said something along the lines of device0\hdd1
couldn't write to disk cache.
This made sense cause I could also hear the Harddrive clicking just before
it freezes. I also found if I wasn't doing to much you could almost leave
the PC for 30 seconds and it would recover.

Only occasionally would I get a pop-up box with the error. Most times it
would just freeze.

After replacing the Harddrive and using Ghost to copy from one drive to the
other all is working fine now.

Give the event viewer a check.
