Random Freezes after upgrade from 98 to XP Home

Just upgraded 2 PC's of a similar spec. One is fine, the
other freezes at random times, surfing, playing games,
immediately after booting, any time really. Upgraded
graphics/sound/LAN card drivers. Unable to upgrade BIOS
due to mobo manfacturer going bust.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Random freezing usually has to do with hardware failures. First, test
your RAM. Then test your hard drive, then motherboard. Check for
overheating and power supply issues.
