HELP! my computer keeps creating random connections to the internet and it
disconnects me, stating that it is connecting. then it doesnt connect
properly, which means that i cant do anything and have to reboot. i have
tryed deleting them but they just reappear under new names...what do i do?

The problem sounds a lot like sypware, specifically dialers. First run all
your anti virus and spyware software and see if it removes anything. Then,
reboot computer and press F8 repeatedly just after memory count and that
will open "windows advanced options menu." Select to start in "Safe Mode
with Networking" and let computer load windows (don't worry about how it
looks :) Try now to connect to the internet and if successful then visit
Trend Micro House Call and have it scan your computer. Next, download,
install and run SpyBot Search and Destroy, CWShredder, Stinger and lastely
HijackThis though don't run this program yet. After you have completed this
reboot normally and run HijackThis and have it "scan and save a log file"
which you can post here or to any of the help forums listed on TomCoyote.
You can also examine the log yourself and look for any suspicious processes
which you can copy into google and examine the results. You can also now
download and install SpywareGuard for future protection.
