How do you tell what speed of RAM is in someones computer? They don't have the support documents and their looking to upgrade.

you can use one of the following

CPU-Z , gives you CPU and RAM speeds

Everest , gives a complete system overview

PC wizard , gives a complete system overview

Are those like seperate programs I have to download? Or are they already on the computer?

i should have said that :blush: , actually if its a shop bought system you can go to the crucial website and it will recommend some for you
