Friends my RAM always seems busy[utilized], and keep on
decreasing FREE RAM as time passes...
system description is as follows...
P-IV 1.7 Ghz
DDR 256 MB RAM(two slots, 128 Kigston, 128 Blitz)
Two hard disks(40+20GB)
Win 98[C partition]
Win XP[E Partition]
=====
I have checked with slots one by one, not to avail, as
soon as my OS[98/xp] loads, almost 100 MB RAM is shown as
used, and after I open IE or MSN it start decreasing and
come to critical levels, i checked this with CYBERLAT RAM
CLEANER SOFTWARRE...even though no software is runnning,
not even in back ground, no SQL, tomcat, Oracle, keylogger
etc etc...
Also had formated C and E Partitions and instaled both OS
again...yet the RAM is used much, but although it stopped
INCREASING with that pace, but stil it seemed problmatic..
is there problem with my RAM [kingston or blitz] or is
there any memory resident virus...i chcked the system with
NORTRON 2003 virus defintions updated on 8 Aug 03
please help me out....:-s
