ram idle

does anyone know what this is as i seem to be having a
problem withmy computer slowing down and this seems to be
the only thing that is using the cpu
 
If you are talking about the System Idle Process then it is exactly what it
says. If it says 95% (for example) that means the CPU is 95% IDLE, doing
almost nothing, just waiting on you to do something.
